The radio thing is .... Summits on the Air (SOTA) is an award scheme for radio amateurs and shortwave listeners that encourages portable operation in mountainous areas. There are awards for activators (those who ascend to the summits) and chasers (who either operate from home, a local hilltop or are even Activators on other summits). Gives me a goal and reason to do it..

I climbed 181 summits so far, my plan is to climb every Marlyn in England and Wales. Then start in Scotland, but I dont expect to do all of them in Scotland
